Best city to play blues music?
I am looking to move from my small town in PA and start life new and just start over. I am looking for a city that I can pursue my music there. My friend and I have like a blues/acoustic sound. So what are the best cities to have opportunites to play and stand out. We are 22. I see a lot of people on here talk about Nashville, but I thought that was just for country, but I guess I would stand out by not being country. So any help would be great.

I'm in Jackson Miss and we have lots of good blues bars and lots lots lots of really good blues players around here. All the cities up and down the Miss. River are decent choices.The Delta in Miss. has lots of clubs, and then there are the casinos who feature blues as well.
And no, Nashville is not just for country anymore! Lots of musical styles are coming from there now. Austin, Texas is another excellent choice, they have a fabulous music scene. Memphis is good, too. Those are the only areas I know of personally.
