Concert Featuring
I am going to a free concert at Millenium Park with four friends. What time should I get there?
The concert will feature The Decemberists and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, so I'm sure quite a few people will be going.
It is a free concert- first come first serve. The band's myspace says that it starts at 8, but I want to make sure we get pretty good seats. About what time should we get there?
There is a lot of lawn space at Millenium Park, but if you actually wanted to see, there's probably room for maybe 500 people to see. (?) But considering it's free, I'm sure lots more than that will show up... The Millenium Park concert I went to last week had the majority of the seats filled up and they were a world music group that I (and I'm sure most other people) had never heard of before.
I'm planning on going to, it should be fun.
