Has Walmart ever damaged your car?
My lease is up in a week, was going to turn in the vehicle tomorrow. So we paid for 4 new tires (have to according to lease) and went to leave- there are very very deep grooves in 2 of the alloy rims, very noticeable. Walmart took pictures, but did not own up to it- said an assistant manager would call me tomorrow when they come in. We filled out a "complaint" form. Has this happened to you, and what became of it?
Yes. I had tires done on many occasions. Like my third time buying new tires (over many years) for my truck the tire guy stripped a lug stud. Rounded the threads. The manager said that it happens quite often. I said that i had my tires done before and it never happened. It obviously was caused by the tire guy winding up the air gun while taking off the lug or trying to put it back on. Your not supposed to try to start the lug back on with the air gun, you do it with you fingers first and then tighten. I complained and made them pay for it. I had to go somewhere else and have a new stud pressed into the wheel drum and brought walmart the bill. They paid it cause they new the tire guy screwed up my lug stud. they dont just strip out for no reason. the guy was probably stoned and didnt give a crap. And the manager figured I would accept his bs excuse and pay for the damage myself. Call them, bug them, threaten them with lawsuit until the agree to do whats right. why is it no one will accept responsibility when they screw up. I would not let it rest until you have reached the right outcome - with walmart paying for their screw-up.
