My cat walks in circles mostly at night or in the early morning while I am sleeping and meows?
My cat (I have 2 - this one is siamese, the other is a tabby) walks in circles mostly at night or in the early morning while I am sleeping and meows. He sometimes does it during the day, but it is always in the same corner of my room and it is starting to drive me crazy by waking me up every morning/night. Any advice? Anyone know how to make him stop?
He is also fairly young - 8 years old.
This is quite normal. Cats are most active at night, so he is trying to get you to wake up to give him attention. This is a difficult habit to break because even when you wake up to shush him, he has gotten attention as he wanted. Best thing is to lock him out of your bedroom.
