What is going to happen to the stadium that they use for the Hall of Fame Game?
We know that Monday is going to be the final time they are going to have Baseball's annual Baseball Hall of Fame game, and the Cubs and Padres have been selected to play in it. But what is going to happen to the stadium that plays host to it after it all ends on Monday? Are they going to delmoish it? I would have to doubt that Copperstown will ever get thier own baseball team anytime soon.
They use the field for other games. Last time I visited the Hall they had what look like an American Legion game going on.
In fact my site listed as a source says "the American Legion holds its New York state tournament annually at Doubleday Field. The field size is more suited to amateur baseball, as the fences are unusually close to home plate."
