Is Janet Jackson trying to make money off the back of her dead brother?
I have noticed fair few adverts on TV promoting Janet Jackson's greatest hits album in the same year that her brother, who was given the title 'The King of Pop', had died.
Whether people like it or not, 2009 will be remembered for Micheal Jackson's death. Yet here we have his sister promoting HER greatest hits album.
What do you think?
Darrell: If Janet is already doing well and making millions why the need to promote her album? Should'nt she be racked with remorse? Shouldnt she step aside and proclaim that this year is about my brother??
It's possible, but again no one is forced to purchase her albums. I grew up with Motown being born & raised in Berkeley, California. She might have stepped up her albums to try to sell more of them being connected to her brother. I still don't think that most people will purchase music that they aren't truly interested in. It is sad if anyone takes advantage of the situation, but things are bound to happen. I think that it is really a shame that with all his money, that he couldn't get a good, ethical doctor who could get to the bottom of Michal's "demons" and find a way to truly help him deal with them. Drugs can help people, but also drugs can kill people. It is a tragic loss of a wonderfully talented person. He sounded like a person with a lot of troubles. He is free from anymore troubles, but I'm sure that he hated to leave his children who he cherished, tho. The entire situation is so sad & I think that it could have been prevented, too. It's a shame that no one close to MJ couldn't find a way to help him from himself. He obviously was addicted to his meds. Such a waste...So Sad.
