How does one get a subscription to box seats at the Hollywood Bowl?
Everytime the date comes out that open ticket sales will be open, all the box seats are sold out for the weekend shows before the box office starts even accepting sales! Only bench seats are available. How is it possible to ever break through and get a subscription to box seats? Thanks for any help. My husband and I love the Bowl but we can never get a box seat to the shows we want. The bench seats are too far back and the music sounds muffled and it's like sitting with baseball fans. Thanks for any help.
sounds to me like you gotta know somebody... try the whole six degrees of separation thing and see what pops up... I am learning more and more that most of the really cool things are held secretly and you have to claw your way into them... try asking one of the people in the box seats that you want... ask them how they got theirs and if maybe they would be interested in helping you get yours. May be worth another trip to the Hollywood Bowl. Go when Belle and Sebastian are playing there!
