Can anyone tell me anything about Pastor James MacDonald? I read that he lives in a 1.9 million dollar home?
Do you think it's right that the leader of a Bible Church needs to live in such a luxurious mansion. Even if the money was not taken from church funds, does this make it right. Here's what wikipedia says about him. "MacDonald resides with his family in a $1.9 million dollar [1] home in Inverness bought from former U.S Senator Peter Fitzgerald. The home was purchased with the full support of the churches Elders, from personal investment monies the MacDonald's have that are not related to Harvest Bible Chapel or any donated funds." I was thinking of joining his church until I read about this. Now, I'm not so sure anymore.
It may be very Possible that God has blessed him.
God does want you to have nice things you know as long as those things do not take the place of God in your life, when that happens, God will take it away.
As for wether or not this applies to him? well only time will tell, It has happened before that a wealthy evangelist has fallen into temptation because of Accumulated wealth.
