Do you agree when you fail in first love , you start loving someone else more intensely and passionately ?
Why this should happen ? Is it because you want to convert the frustration from first love into something which will give you more happiness and pleasure ? What is the reason according to you ?
Edit - What could be happening is as escape mechanism or venting out the disappointment of first failed love you "convert" the agony and frustations of first love in more focused and intense second love. Do you agree ?
Its often seen as a compensation love, and Im sure your familiar with the term rebound which is very similar.
People have different ways of handling the pain from broken love.
Some people shut them self in, others party wild, one-nightstands, indulging, the list can go on for ever.
Many react as you mentioned, by falling in love with someone else feeling it more intense and passionately.
This leeds you to believe that this time its more real and important and that last time was insignificant compared. Making you forget about the pain and get happy.
Im sorry if this seems rude, and Im not saying this is a fact for you, but for some this is a fact.
I cant find any source to prove this, but its been claimed that the dopamine that's bound up to the feeling love combined with the chemical reactions connected to the mental state of sorrow/grief combined might give a larger feeling of love.
