Will my dad ever stop accusing my mam of cheating?
My parents are 25 years married. They have been happily married for the past 24years..this past year has drained the whole family. last summer my mam started to attend an art class, i thought it was an excellent idea as she works 4 days in a supermarket, she never left the house, except to attend the occasional party with my dad. however my dad started to get suspicious of her fidelity, and once went down to check up on her. he even started to look at her mobile to see if she was getting msgs from another man. My dad has apoligised soo many times saying he is depressed , i think he is depressed cause he is very sad this past year.what i would like to find out is paranoia a symtom of depression??My father has been a great dad, and a great husbond to my mam but he is hurting her soo much by these stupid accusations i dont know should i try to help the get over this or should i let the split up???
Men at a certain age especially men in their upper 40's to 60's sometimes go through a mid life crisis. They do not feel like the same man they once did.For men like your father and mine it is hard to see their wife be able to have a life without them. He may want to go to a therapist to see if they can help him deal with these thoughts. My father has been accusing my mother of affairs for the last 5 years. I know that it is painful to watch.
