Gamestop return policy on open items? I opened a game, played it once and now want to return it! Can I?
I literally played this XBOX 360 game once, and now I want to return it. I literally bought it a couple of days ago. Will they accept a return for a full return?
New Game - Unopened, it can be refunded w/receipt within 30 days of purchase. Opened, it can be exchanged for another copy of the *same* game if it's defective.
Used Game - If you're not satisfied within 7 days for *any* reason, even after playing it and you just don't like it, you can return it for a full money(not store credit unless you paid with it) back refund by no later than the 7th day with receipt provided. It still also has the 30 defective exchange policy.
These returns/exchanges can be done at any GameStop so long as you provide receipt, even if it's not the one you bought the game from
Always buy used if you can. A few bucks cheaper(maybe more if you have the Edge card). Way better return policy, and unless you're buying PS2/Gamecube/Xbox games, the condition is almost always as good as new.
