Coca-cola vinyl, rare collectable?
Back in the 70's, coca cola had an advert with the song "I'd like to buy the world a coke" - which had such high public demand that they re-released it onto vinyl which went to number 1 in the charts (and is in the top 100 of best selling records of all time). Obviously, when they re-released it they had to change the words to "I'd like to teach the world to sing", because they couldn't say coke.
Before the vinyl was released, and before the public demand, my Nan wrote off to Coca-cola and they sent her the song from the advert on vinyl, the original song, with the original lyrics, and so it's only about a minute and a half to two minutes long, and has Coca-cola printed sleeves.
I've looked around but can't seem to find anything, but I think this record is rare, does anyone know anything about it????
