How long do you have to search in the grass behind Pokemon Mansion to find a rare pokemon?
I'm playing the Pearl version, and I'm aware of the definition of 'rare'; but just how rare are those pokemon? I've seached a few of times for about 30 minutes in that patch with no success in finding a single rare pokemon there. I haven't beated the Elite 4 yet, so I was wondering if that had anything to do with it - or I have to search for hours (or longer, if needed)?
Also, I'm planning to catch a few of them in one sitting (if possible). Does anyone know the encounter rate for rare pokemon in that patch?

the pokemon mansion only has a few different kinds of pokemon before you beat the elite four once you do beat the elit four and get the national dex you can talk to the owner of the pokemon mansion and he will tell you that he saw a pokemon. the pokemon he sazys is random so wut i do is save before i talk to him then if i dont like what pokemon he says i restart and talk to him again. there is a very small chace of finding the pokemon he says it doesnt matter how long you look for there is only about a 4% chance of finding one but once you talk to him alot the pokemon he says will stay in the garden for good
