How can I shave/wax with no red bumps later down there?
I don't really want to go to a salon, but I pretty much want the equivalent of a Brazilian. After just Bikini waxing or shaving or Nair-ing (whether it's at a salon or not) I ALWAYS get irritated red skin.
What would you suggest I use/do to avoid this problem??
Get some Bikini Zone medicated gel to put on after you're done. It soothes the skin and keeps you from getting the ugly red bumps. I use it all the time, and I don't have bumps like I did when I just used regular moisturizer. You can usually find it at the drug store with the waxes and creams.
Bikini Zone also makes a dilapatory cream for the area that doesn't burn. I use it quite a bit too, since it's easier than shaving and gets into all the nooks and crannies, lol. It's really expensive, though, so I usually just shave.
