Can Anyone Tell Me The Name of this Song from 1974-1978?
There was a song that was out on a 45 rpm record somewhere between 1974 & 1978. I can't remember if it was an A-side song or B-side song. What little I can remember from the song has haunted me to today but I can't remember the artist or song title. Here go some of the lines of the song:
"Daddy please don't it wasn't his fault he means so much to me; daddy please don't we're gonna get married, just you wait and see."
Evidently, the Dad, trying to shoot the boyfriend, I'm assuming due to some misunderstanding, ends up shooting his daughter by accident and that's how the song ends.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!
