What do YOU think is the hardest part about building a computer?
Would prefer only people that have built a computer answer this.
I'm about to build my first computer and I'd like to know what you thought the hardest part about building one is so I could get an glimpse of potential problems I'm gonna be having.
For me there was nothing really "hard" about building a PC. I just built it - it's pretty straightforward, more so than one might think. The hardest part is probably choosing the right components for the job and not spending too much if you have lots of money available - make sure you know what you want to get out of it and get the right stuff for the job. Also, it's nice to have a motherboard and case that allow for future upgrades, such as a CPU upgrade (ie. a newer socket instead of the older socket 775 or AM2); RAM upgrades; video card upgrades and so forth. As long as you're not a mental invalid, it's not that easy to break components.
