Let me try this again... Would a lab puppy INTERACT well with a two year old?
I'm asking this in parenting because it seems like the ppl in the Dogs section have sticks up their butts.
Yes, I know I would be the one taking care of the dog, not Johnny. All I want to know is if they are good breeds of dogs with children.

No. Labs are great dogs, but horrible puppies. They are very mouthy and very hyper. My puppy at 8 weeks sent a kid to the ER for stitches above his eye where the playing got too rough and her puppy teeth put a gash in his forehead. The mouthiness can be trained quickly out of them, but the hyperness lasts I hear until 2, but mine is now 7 and still pretty hyper.
Have you seen the movie Marley and Me? That was a true story.
